Two Options for Visitors
If you already have a medical cannabis card from another state, most dispensaries in Puerto Rico will accept it immediately.
- Bring your valid out-of-state card
- Present your ID at the dispensary
- Purchase products immediately
If you don't have an existing card, you can get a telehealth evaluation and receive a 30-day temporary card.
- Complete a telehealth evaluation
- Receive same-day approval
- Card valid for 30 days (renewable once)

Public consumption is prohibited. Use only in your private accommodation.
Federal law prohibits transporting cannabis. Consume everything before your flight.
