CNSS Expands High-Cost Drug Coverage Under Subsidized Health Plan

The National Council of Social Security (CNSS) has expanded high-cost medication coverage under the Subsidized Regime's Family Health Insurance (SFS) through Resolution 631-04, effective February 26, 2026. The expansion focuses on non-oncological conditions including lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and kidney disease. This decision significantly improves access to specialized treatments for patients with chronic autoimmune and kidney disorders who previously faced substantial out-of-pocket expenses.
