Dutch Court Declares Bedrocan Medical Cannabis Company Bankrupt, Halting Supply

A Dutch court has declared the Dutch entities of medical cannabis company Bedrocan bankrupt, ending the supply of medical cannabis products that have been provided to the Dutch government's medical cannabis program since 2003. The bankruptcy follows Bedrocan's failed petition for payment suspension in September. This supply disruption may affect patients who depend on regulated medical cannabis for treating various conditions including chronic pain, anxiety, and multiple sclerosis. Healthcare providers and patients relying on Bedrocan's pharmaceutical-grade cannabis products will need to transition to alternative suppliers as the company's supply contracts are terminated.
