Healthcare Organizations Coordinate to Strengthen Autism Spectrum Disorder Care for Physicians' Children

The Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Project Commission of the Dominican Medical College's National District Regional has met with representatives from the National Health Insurance (SeNaSa) to coordinate efforts improving healthcare services for children of physicians diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. This collaborative initiative aims to ensure comprehensive and specialized care for this vulnerable population. The coordination between medical professional organizations and national health insurance agencies strengthens the healthcare infrastructure for children with ASD and demonstrates commitment to supporting physicians' families facing neurodevelopmental challenges.
