Lechetón 2026 Campaign Aims to Collect 46,000 Liters of Milk for Vulnerable Populations

The Activo 20-30 Club of Santo Domingo, in partnership with Tetra Pak, Dominican Scouts, supermarket chains, and media outlets, announced the 16th edition of Lechetón Activo 20-30, a social responsibility initiative designed to improve nutrition for vulnerable children, adolescents, and elderly adults. This annual campaign addresses nutritional deficiencies in at-risk populations by collecting and distributing milk, a critical source of calcium, protein, and essential nutrients vital for growth and health maintenance. The initiative recognizes that proper nutrition is foundational to preventing chronic diseases and supporting healthy development across all age groups. Community participation through donations and corporate partnerships enables the program to reach thousands of vulnerable individuals who may otherwise lack access to adequate dairy nutrition.
