Medical Societies Form Alliance to Strengthen Specialized Cancer and Heart Care

Four Dominican medical societies—Cardiology, Medical Oncology, Hematology, and Radiation Oncology—have signed a groundbreaking intersociety agreement to advance cardio-oncology and provide more integrated patient care. This alliance addresses the growing need for coordinated treatment as cancer patients increasingly face cardiac complications from their disease and therapies.
