Semaglutide Associated with Fewer Asthma Attacks in Clinical Registry Study

A new study presented at the European Respiratory Society Congress found that semaglutide, a medication commonly prescribed for obesity and type 2 diabetes, was associated with fewer asthma attacks in patients with respiratory conditions. Led by Professor Chloe Bloom from the National Heart and Lung Institute, the research analyzed clinical registry data to examine this unexpected benefit.
