Students Receive Guidance at Campaign Event Against Violence Against Women

The Women's Advocate Office (OPM) held the first educational event of the campaign 'When a Woman Raises Her Voice,' developed in collaboration with singer Melina León to prevent gender-based violence and promote healthy relationships in Puerto Rico. The initiative aims to provide communities with support tools and educational resources to address violence prevention. This campaign represents an important public health effort, as gender-based violence can have significant psychological and physical health impacts on survivors. The educational approach focuses on awareness and building protective factors within communities.
