Peru's Medical Cannabis Regulation Faces Access Gap Despite Eight Years of Legalization

Despite legalizing medical cannabis eight years ago, Peru has established patient registries, authorized products, licensed pharmacies, and pathways for associative cultivation. However, a DIGEMID analysis reveals that much of this regulatory framework has not translated into actual product availability in the formal market.
